IC Places Version 2.0 Websites Beat Company Expectation

June 8, 2011 - Winter Park, FL

IC Places, Inc. (OTCQB: ICPA) -- Today, IC Places announced its enhanced PHP Version 2.0 websites, which have been live for 3 weeks, are performing well above company expectations.

"In the 3 weeks since the launch, we have seen growth that a year ago some people may not have imagined possible," said Steven Samblis, President of IC Places, Inc. "Completely re-coding our websites and moving from Windows to Unix servers was a daunting task and one that most companies would never attempt. I knew, to bring our viewers the best experience possible, we had to tear down the old model and embrace the giant leaps which recent technology offers. After months of intense programming we have stepped through with a group of city websites that do more, faster and better than would have been possible with our previous code on our previous servers."

Increased Performance and the Bottom Line

Version 2.0 is performing above expectation in all categories in both daily and weekly stats. IC Places pages now load 300% faster than the previous version. Page views per user have increased from an average of 4.3 to 7.30, a 210% increase. Time on the site per user has increased 350%. Search driven traffic has increased 300%.

Advertising revenues from Pre and Mid Roll ads have increased 700% in the 3 weeks since the Vs 2.0 launch.

Taking Advantage of Speed and Traffic...

To take advantage of faster loading pages, increased page views and time on the site per person, IC Places has added long form video programs to its weekly shows. Longer form videos programs offer the ability to run mid-roll advertising placed within the shows. Longer form shows have greater stickiness. People tend to watch an entire episode of the longer shows. Longer form shows will include on average seven 15 second mid-roll ads as opposed to only one pre-roll ad on short form shows.

To feed the need the company is producing an expanded version of its most popular shows which include "The Instant Move Review" and "1st Look Red Carpet Special Edition." To support the production needs, the company now has film teams and hosts that attend Red Carpet events in Miami, New York and LA. Upcoming Red Carpet events include Super 8 on June 8th and Green Lantern June 15th, both in LA.

The company has also increased content offering outside its own productions through media partnerships. Zylogic Media, one such partner, offers two weekly long form shows: "The Weakly News" starring Iliza Shlesinger -- Winner of NBC's Last Comic Standing and "The Real Cool Club." The shows are 22 to 50 min in length and outrageously entertaining.
