Increased commercial requirements, sustained by consumer demand for more bandwidth communicative applications, have created a strong market influence within communication. The introduction and exponential popularity of Skype, Facebook and LinkedIn has increased the demand for internet bandwidth and according to the World Semiconductor Trade Statistics, the global semiconductor market grew 96% since 2001 and is expected to continue to grow at an annual growth rate of 8%.

Its recent acquisition of Micron Technology's fabrication facility in Nishiwaki City, Japan nearly doubles Tower's current internal manufacturing capacity, increasing production by 60,000 wafers/month. The added capacity will help serve growing needs of expanding blue chip customer base. This is expected to help position TowerJazz to achieve its $1 billion annual revenue target by 2014. World Street has emphasized MagnaChip Semiconductor LLC as an up and coming manufacturer of analog and mixed-signal semiconductor products for consumer applications. The Company's analog and mixed-signal semiconductor products and services enable the high resolution display of images and video. Last year the company increased revenues by 38 percent to $779 million in 2010. It currently sells for seven times earnings.
