FREMONT, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/18/10 -- Crossing Automation, Inc. (, a leading supplier of efficient, cost-effective front-end and back-end automation solutions and engineering services to high volume semiconductor equipment manufacturers, today announced the addition of Gerald Li as vice president (VP) and general manager of Asia Pacific Operations. This role covers Taiwan, China, Singapore, Malaysia and Korea. His responsibilities include sales, customer satisfaction, finance and human resources for these regions in semiconductor and emerging markets.

Li began his career as an engineer at Intel Corporation 27 years ago. He has held executive roles for the past 15 years at companies including Evergreen Solar, Brooks Automation, Applied Materials, KLA-Tencor, Precision Semiconductor Mask, and Hualon Microelectronics. Li holds a M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a M.S. in Physical Chemistry from Auburn University.
