Aims for Leadership with the Launch of a Complete Range of Refrigerators with 5 Star Energy Rating

Hyderabad, March 10... This plan has been shared by Mr. George Menezes, COO, Godrej Appliances, at the launch of Godrej's Edge Range of Direct Cool Refrigerators - India's first complete range of refrigerators with "5 Star Energy Rating."

Open Challenge: The Coolest Refrigerator in its class

In addition to providing huge savings in energy costs year after year, the Edge range is designed to provide superior cooling with excellent features like no other.

Freeze Express (Patent Applied): This is a special Step Design Freezer that delivers much faster cooling. The Step Design increases the number of coiled surfaces available for cooling thereby ensuring faster cooling and ice making. Frozen Food is preserved at -21�C as compared to -18�C in a regular freezer.

Convection Control Technology (Patent Applied): This is a revolutionary technology that allows superior air circulation even when the refrigerator is completely stacked. Cool air from the freezer is channelized through specially designed ducts running down the length of the refrigerator. Control Flaps on the ducts can be regulated to provide air throw on the desired shelves thereby ensuring enhanced cooling.

Thicker Insulation: The Edge has an extra thick Polyurethane Foam (PUF) insulation to ensure that cooling is retained longer.
