Launched the Anti dandruff ingredient ZPTO during the quarter
Mumbai: January 24, 2008: Vivimed Labs, a specialty chemicals manufacturer and an established player in the personal care and cosmetics industry has declared excellent results for the quarter ended December 2008 on the back of excellent sales from the anti dandruff ingredient ZPTO launched during the quarter.
The company has witnessed a jump of 47 % in its Income from operations to Rs. 140.92 crore (December 2007) from Rs. 95.90 crore for the nine months ended December 2006. The Profit before tax stood at Rs. 18.72 crore, 44 % up from Rs. 13 crore for the same period last year. The Net Profit jumped 44.53 % to Rs. 14.04 crore as compared to Rs. 9.71 crore for the corresponding period last year.
The relevant quarter contributed Rs. 50.75 crore to the top line, about 40 % up from Rs. 36.29 crore in Q3 FY07. The Profit after Tax increased to Rs. 4.78 crore, 46 % of Rs. 3.27 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
