Sahara Group enters Kochi real estate market

The Sahara Groups real estate business enters South India with the launch of the Sahara Grace brand of residential complexes in Kochi.

Kochi, Apr 5 : The Sahara Group's real estate business enters South India with the launch of the Sahara Grace brand of residential complexes in Kochi.

The Kochi project is the third brand of the company after Sahara Grace at Gurgaon and Lucknow and the brand is positioned to provide a product mix of apartments and penthouses and many value added facilities and amenities to its residents.

Sahara has developed commercial and residential projects which include townships, premium group housing projects, malls, retail spaces, hospitals and hotels.

Sahara is also credited with the development of the Amby Valley City, near Mumbai.

Speaking about Sahara's presence in the southern region, Sushanto Roy, Head - Sahara's Real Estate Business, said: "today is a memorable moment and a matter of pride for us, as we announce our 300 crore first project in South India. We are also planning to bring our other brands of real estate projects here."

"As a safety measure for protection of life and property from earthquake, construction is designed at one level higher than the applicable seismic zone as per the specifications of Bureau of Indian," he added.

Sahara Grace, Kochi is located at Seaport Airport Road at nearby Kakkanad and offers residential and commercial facilities designed for high-income group customers.

The project, spread over 14.72 acres proposes to house 728 residential units on a total built up area of about 1,68,670 square meters. It is a mix of two to four bedroom apartments, three and four bedroom duplex Apartments and penthouses.

Other ventures of Sahara real estate business are, Sahara States - Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Hyderabad and Bhopal, Brand malls - Sahara Ganj, Lucknow and Sahara Mall, Gurgaon.
