Indo-Egypt bilateral trade talks on April 15th

Commerce and Industry Minister Kamal Nath and his Egyptian counterpart Rachid Mohamed Rachid will discuss possibilities of cooperation in textiles, home furnishing, automotive, shipping, leather and mining sector on April 15.

New Delhi, Apr 14 : Commerce and Industry Minister Kamal Nath and his Egyptian counterpart Rachid Mohamed Rachid will discuss possibilities of cooperation in textiles, home furnishing, automotive, shipping, leather and mining sector on April 15.

Rachid will be accompanied by a 35-member business delegation.

With both countries registering healthy increases in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in recent years, their intention is to enter into a more intense economic relationship.

Bilateral trade currently stands at 2.8 billion dollars, with the Balance of Trade in Egypt's favour,mainly due to its petroleum product exports

Egypt and India enjoy similarities in their approach to strategic and trade relations.
