New Delhi, Nov 15 : Teleos, in association with The KNOW Network, has announced the nine winners of the 2007 Indian Most Admired Knowledge Enterprises (MAKE) study.

MindTree Consulting has been recognised as the overall 2007 Indian MAKE winner. Previous overall Indian MAKE winners have been Infosys Technologies and Tata Steel.
The third annual Indian MAKE winners were recognised during a special awards ceremony at the Confederation of Indian Industry's "KM India: The Knowledge Summit," held in New Delhi.
Rory Chase, Managing Director of Teleos, said: "India is emerging as a dynamic center of innovative knowledge management. These companies are building portfolios of intellectual capital and intangible assets which will enable them to out-perform their competitors -- both within India and abroad -- in years to come."
The 2007 Indian MAKE winners are Bharti Airtel (Telecommunications), Eureka Forbes (Consumer products), Infosys Technologies (IT solutions), Larsen and Toubro - Engineering and Construction Division (Construction and engineering), MindTree Consulting (IT consulting and R and D services), Satyam Computer Services (IT solutions), Tata Consultancy Services (IT solutions), Tata Steel (Metal fabrication) and Wipro Technologies (IT solutions).
A panel of Indian-based fortune 500 senior executives and internationally recognised knowledge management / intellectual capital experts chose the winners.
The panel rated organisations against the MAKE framework of eight key knowledge performance dimensions -- visible drivers of competitive advantage and intellectual capital growth: creating an enterprise knowledge-driven culture, developing knowledge workers through senior management leadership, innovation, maximizing enterprise intellectual capital, creating a collaborative knowledge sharing environment, creating a learning organization, delivering value based on customer knowledge and transforming enterprise knowledge into shareholder value.
